Umpires

We are looking for Umpires!!

Are you at least 13 years old and want to earn $$ or community service hours?

If the answer is yes, consider being a SVGSL Umpire!!

- We provide training throught ASA (you will be a certified ASA umpire)

- Schedule is flexible - work as many games as you want

- ASA Umpire registration fee is $45 - SVGSL will pay half

Pay scale:

8U Division = $8

10U Division = $12

12U Division = $18

14/16U Division = $25

Note: pay is double if game is umpired solo (only one umpire)

Game Schedule: 5:30 start for Weekday games.

Monday: 14/16U. Note: Age Division is 13-16.

Tuesday: 12U

Wednesday: 10U

Thursday: 8U (Umpires second half of season when player pitch begins.

This is a great place for new umpires to get game

experience in a casual game environment!)

Saturday: All levels, starting with younger girls in the morning.

12U and 14/16U Divisions play teams from neighboring softball leagues.

Umpire Clinics will be held on the weekend early in the new year.

SVGSL uses ASA rules as the leagues base rule set. These rules are modified for regular season recreational play by division. See local divisional rules here.
